A Divine Orb changes the numerical values produced by an item's random modifiers. It does not give the item a new set of modifier identities. In practical terms, the kinds of properties on the item remain recognizable while their variable numbers are rolled again.
A Path of Exile 2 Divine Orb randomizes the numeric values of modifiers on an item. The item does not receive a replacement set of properties. This makes the orb a numeric reroll: useful modifier identities remain present, but their displayed values may move in either direction.
The numeric values of random modifiers are rerolled.
Numeric modifier values are randomized again.
The modifier identities and base item remain.
The properties themselves stay on the item.
The item has the right modifiers but disappointing values.
