Keep the modifiers. Reroll their values.
A Divine Orb changes the numerical values produced by an item's random modifiers. It does not give the item a new set of modifier identities. In practical terms, the kinds of properties on the item remain recognizable while their variable numbers are rolled again.
Use it when the modifier set is worth preserving.
The imported Path of Exile 1 directions allow the orb on magic, rare, or unique items. The decision makes the most sense when the item already has the properties you want and the variable values are the part you are willing to gamble on. Read the item carefully before changing numbers that may already be favorable.
Every affected value is randomized rather than selectively improved. A strong value can become weaker, and the orb does not replace an unwanted modifier with a desirable one. Confirm both the modifier identities and their present values before spending it.
High market importance does not guarantee a good craft.
Divine Orbs are followed closely in Path of Exile 1 trading, but their exchange value changes with league supply, demand, and time. Crafting utility and market buying power are related without being identical; the current exchange record belongs beside the permanent item definition, not inside it.
