Privacy policy

PoExplorer collects only what it needs to operate the public reference site, answer messages, and provide member tools that a user explicitly requests.

Information collected

The contact form stores the name, reply address, category, subject, message, and submission time you provide. Member accounts store an email address, encrypted password, optional display name, verification status, saved items and searches, newsletter choice, and dated consent records. The server also keeps ordinary security and access logs. Email delivery events may be recorded with a one-way recipient hash.

How it is used

Information is used to provide requested account features, respond to messages, protect the service, diagnose faults, and maintain email deliverability. It is not sold. Contact messages are normally removed within 90 days after resolution unless security, legal, or operational needs require longer retention.

Service providers and bot protection

PoExplorer uses a dedicated hosting provider, Resend for transactional email, Umami for privacy-focused site analytics, and Cloudflare Turnstile to protect forms from automated abuse. These providers process limited technical or account information needed to deliver their services.

Cookies and private accounts

Public reference pages do not require an account. Necessary security and session cookies support administration, form protection, and signed-in member features. Personal dashboards are private and excluded from search engines. Newsletter enrollment is a separate, optional choice and is unchecked by default.

Your choices

Members can change newsletter preferences and permanently delete their account from the private dashboard. Deletion removes the account and associated saved items, searches, preferences, and consent records. Other access, correction, deletion, or contact-submission requests can be sent through the contact form.

Do not send passwords, API keys, payment information, or sensitive financial information through PoExplorer.
