Placed in a personal Map Device, this Scarab adds 8 to 12 packs of Doedre's Devoted. Each of those monsters has an additional 1% chance to drop a Stacked Deck, so the effect depends on clearing the added packs rather than granting decks immediately.

Use it when the map can be cleared reliably and the other Map Device choices support the time spent finding and killing the extra packs. Count the Scarab as an input cost before evaluating the resulting decks.
The pack count and drops are variable. A valuable Divination Card opening elsewhere does not establish the expected return from this map modifier.
