Primitive Chaotic Resonator
Understand Primitive Chaotic Resonator as a one-socket Path of Exile 1 rare-item reroll shaped by its inserted Fossil.
What happens if you use it?
A rare item is rerolled under one inserted Fossil's rules.
The base remains while its modifier set changes.
One specific Fossil constraint is enough for the intended attempt.
The entire current roll is lost and the replacement remains random.

Load one Fossil, then reforge the rare item.
The Resonator holds one Fossil and reforges a rare item with new random modifiers. The inserted Fossil changes the eligible or weighted result; the Resonator alone is not a complete crafting plan.
Choose the Fossil and base as one operation.
Verify the desired Fossil effect, target item level, base, and acceptable outcomes before applying the loaded Resonator. Treat every current rare modifier as expendable.
The rare modifier set is replaced. A poorly matched Fossil or base can spend both inputs without moving the craft forward.
One-socket Delve crafting supports its demand.
Value follows demand for inexpensive Fossil-guided rerolls and the supply of Resonators. The input cost cannot guarantee a useful rare result.
