Point jewellery quality at Chaos modifiers.
Chayula's Catalyst applies quality to a ring or amulet so qualifying Chaos modifiers receive the benefit. It replaces other jewellery quality and does not create a new Chaos modifier.
Count the useful Chaos modifiers first.
Inspect the target's qualifying Chaos modifiers and current quality. Apply this Catalyst only when improving those modifiers is worth replacing the existing quality family.
Other quality types are replaced. Jewellery without strong qualifying Chaos modifiers gains little from the application.
Chaos-focused jewellery creates targeted demand.
Exchange value reflects players optimising rings and amulets with Chaos modifiers. The same Catalyst can be useful on one item and ineffective on another.
