The Catalyst adds quality that enhances Mana modifiers on a ring or amulet. It replaces other quality types, preserving the item's modifiers while changing which modifier family its quality supports.
Value the Mana modifiers before replacing existing quality.
Review the target's qualifying Mana modifiers and its current quality type. Use the Catalyst when the Mana improvement is more important than the benefit being removed.
