Omen of Chaotic Effectiveness
Understand how Omen of Chaotic Effectiveness excludes Monster Effectiveness modifiers from the next Chaos reroll of a Path of Exile 2 Waystone.
What happens if you use it?
The next Waystone Chaos roll excludes Monster Effectiveness modifiers.
The Waystone base remains while all current modifiers are replaced.
Avoiding that family justifies losing the complete current roll.
Other modifiers can still make the replacement worse.

Reroll every Waystone modifier while excluding one family.
When active, the Omen is consumed as the next Chaos Orb replaces all modifiers on a Waystone with modifiers that do not grant Monster Effectiveness. The restriction applies to the replacement pool, not to preservation of the current roll.
Accept the complete reroll before activating the restriction.
Inspect the Waystone and decide whether avoiding Monster Effectiveness is worth losing every current modifier. Review the replacement set before running the Waystone.
The Omen and Chaos Orb are consumed, and the whole existing modifier set is replaced. The next roll remains random within its allowed pool.
Controlled Waystone rerolls create its market.
The Omen's price reflects demand for excluding this modifier family. Other difficult or undesirable modifiers can still appear, so restriction is not a guaranteed safe result.
