Preserved Rib is applied directly to a Rare Armour item to Desecrate it. The item class and rarity are explicit eligibility conditions; the later modifier choices belong to the Desecration system.

Verify the target is Rare Armour, understand the available Desecrated outcomes, and decide what existing value is being exposed before consuming the Rib.
