Target a Rare Armour item for Desecration.
Preserved Rib is applied directly to a Rare Armour item to Desecrate it. The item class and rarity are explicit eligibility conditions; the later modifier choices belong to the Desecration system.
Choose an eligible armour project before applying it.
Verify the target is Rare Armour, understand the available Desecrated outcomes, and decide what existing value is being exposed before consuming the Rib.
Do not apply it to an unplanned valuable item. Eligibility does not guarantee that the resulting Desecrated options improve the armour.
Rare-armour Desecration creates its demand.
Exchange activity measures demand for this entry into an armour crafting step. It cannot guarantee the modifier options or final value of a particular armour item.
