Point jewellery quality at Cold modifiers.
Tul's Catalyst applies quality to a ring or amulet so that qualifying Cold modifiers receive the benefit. Applying it replaces other jewellery quality types; it does not create a new Cold modifier.
Count the useful Cold modifiers first.
Inspect the target's qualifying Cold modifiers and its existing quality. Use this Catalyst only when improving those modifiers is worth replacing the current quality family.
Other quality types are replaced. Jewellery without strong qualifying Cold modifiers gains little from this application.
Cold-focused jewellery creates targeted demand.
The exchange value reflects players optimising rings and amulets with Cold modifiers. The same Catalyst can be valuable on one item and ineffective on another.
