Apply Fire-focused quality to jewellery.
The Catalyst changes a ring or amulet's quality so it enhances qualifying Fire modifiers. It replaces other quality types and does not add a separate Fire modifier.
Match the quality family to the modifiers already on the item.
Inspect the target's Fire modifiers, note the current quality type, and compare both benefits. Use Xoph's Catalyst when the Fire scaling is the more valuable focus for the build.
Other jewellery quality is replaced. Confirm the relevant Fire tags before spending the material.
Fire builds drive demand for the quality conversion.
Exchange activity reflects players optimising Fire jewellery. The Catalyst's value depends on the target; it cannot make an item without useful Fire modifiers into a strong Fire item.
