Add one modifier to a premium magic foundation.

A Perfect Orb of Augmentation adds a random modifier to a magic item. Magic items can have up to two random modifiers, making this commonly the decision that fills the remaining magic-item slot.

Make the existing modifier worth protecting.

Start from a one-modifier magic item strong enough to justify premium augmentation. Check whether the open prefix or suffix supports enough useful outcomes before closing the slot.

Before you use one

The added modifier is random and can fill the final magic-item slot poorly. It cannot fix a weak first modifier or exceed the two-random-modifier limit.

Premium magic crafting creates focused demand.

The exchange market prices the perfect-tier attempt, not the compatibility of the first modifier with possible additions. Narrow outcome pools increase practical risk.
