Soul Core of Quipolatl can be placed into an empty Augment Socket in a Weapon or pair of Boots. Once socketed it cannot be retrieved, although another Augment item can replace it.
Choose the equipment as carefully as the augment.
Confirm the target has an empty Augment Socket, is a Weapon or Boots, and will remain in use long enough to justify consuming the Core. Compare the effect with other compatible Augments first.
The Core cannot be retrieved after socketing. Replacement destroys access to the previous Core, and it cannot be placed in arbitrary equipment slots.

Its market reflects builds using compatible gear and the opportunity cost of other Augment choices. A quoted price does not account for the quality or expected lifetime of the target item.
