Blessed Orb
Understand how a Blessed Orb rerolls implicit-modifier values in Path of Exile 1 without changing explicit modifiers, and why implicit and explicit properties must not be confused.
What happens if you use it?
Numeric values of implicit modifiers are rerolled.
Explicit modifiers and the underlying item remain.
A variable implicit value is weak enough to justify another roll.
The new implicit value can be worse, and explicit properties cannot be fixed.

Reroll the built-in value, not the crafted modifier set.
A Path of Exile 1 Blessed Orb randomizes the numeric values of an item's implicit modifiers. Implicits belong to the item's built-in property layer; the orb does not replace the separate explicit modifiers normally shown below them.
First identify which number is actually implicit.
Use the orb only after confirming the target has a variable implicit value worth rerolling. Compare its present value with the possible range. If the number you want to change is an explicit modifier, a Blessed Orb is the wrong tool.
The value is randomized, not increased. A good implicit roll can become worse, and explicit modifiers remain untouched. Verify the property layer and current roll before spending one.
A narrow function can still carry variable demand.
Demand depends on how often players refine useful implicit ranges, while exchange value still moves with league supply. A current ratio prices another attempt; it does not guarantee that the implicit number will improve.
