Take one random property away; leave the rest in place.
The Path of Exile 2 Orb of Annulment removes one random modifier from an item. Every other modifier survives, so the outcome depends entirely on which single property the random selection removes.
Compare the bad target with every good modifier at risk.
The imported record begins at drop level 35 and stacks to 20. Use it when removing one modifier could materially improve the crafting path and the item remains worth the gamble even if a desirable property disappears instead.
You cannot nominate the modifier. A successful application may remove a valuable property and leave the unwanted one untouched, with no replacement automatically added.
A valuable input does not make the removal selective.
Exchange activity reflects supply and demand for risky modifier editing. Read the observed ratio beside the value already invested in the item; the orb's market cost alone understates the possible loss.
