Perfect Jeweller's Orb
Understand how a Perfect Jeweller's Orb sets a Path of Exile 2 Skill Gem to five Support Gem sockets and why maximum capacity still needs a complete support plan.
What happens if you use it?
A Skill Gem is set to five Support Gem sockets.
The skill itself and its existing supports remain.
A complete five-support plan justifies the highest capacity tier.
Rare capacity can be wasted when the fifth support, colour, or build fit is weak.

Set a Skill Gem to five support sockets.
A Perfect Jeweller's Orb sets a Skill Gem to have five Support Gem sockets. It can only be applied below five, making it the five-support capacity tier rather than a random roll or an automatic improvement to the skill itself.
Reserve the rare capacity step for a finished support plan.
The imported record begins at drop level 65 and stacks to 20. List all five intended Support Gems, confirm their compatibility and colours, and compare the final slot's benefit with the current cost before expanding the Skill Gem.
The orb cannot apply at five or more support sockets and does not supply or colour the supports. Maximum capacity can be unnecessary for the wrong skill, support combination, or stage of progression.
Maximum capacity is not guaranteed efficiency.
Scarcer supply and demand for completed setups can make this tier expensive. A current exchange observation prices the currency, not the strength of the fifth support or the finished build.
